Working Of Air Conditioners

Many people think that in their homes air conditioners lower the temperature by simply pumping cool air in. but they are not aware that the warm air is taken away and cycled it back as cool air. And this phenomenon continues till the thermostat of the room reaches to the desired temperature.

Basically, an air conditioner is similar to a refrigerator which is without the insulated box. To provide cooling it uses the evaporation of a refrigerant such as Freon. The working of the Freon evaporation cycle is similar both in refrigerator and air conditioner.

Here is how the evaporation cycle in an air conditioner works.

  • The Trane compressor, compresses cool Freon gas and turn it into hot high pressure Freon gas.
  • Now the hot gas flows through the set of coils and dispels its heat, thus by condensing as a liquid.
  • This liquid now runs through an expansion valve. While in the process to become cold it evaporates and turns as low pressure Freon gas.
  • So now this gas flows through a set of coils allowing the gas to absorb heat and turn it into cool air inside the building.

For the perfect working process it is also necessary to have good motors. If any motor problem occurs you will face problem as your compressor will also not perform well. So it is essential to check the working of motor if you are having some issue in the cooling of compressor.

Nowadays there are several companies which provide good motors and even these Carrier motor have long life span. Many people therefore go for branded motors with the purpose of avoiding every time problem.

To get good cooling facility always use best motors. This will also help you to save money on repairs. Regularly check the working of your compressor this is essential to do as to know if any problem occurs.
